Don’t wait for the curve to become pain.
The spine is the foundation of body posture and movement. Timely intervention is crucial when changes occur in its alignment. Spinal orthotics help maintain stability, relieve pain, and prevent progression of deformities.
As the body moves, its center of gravity shifts, so it constantly seeks stability through continuous adjustments. The spine adapts to this motion but requires proper anatomical structure and adequate mobility.
With the emergence of deviations in the quality of the posture pattern, various body deformations can occur. These deviations can be the result of improper development, diseases, defects, injuries, age-related changes or other factors. Various deformations occur, which are always treated individually.
We produce various types of individual corsets for:
- idiopathic deformities (scoliosis, kyphosis),
- neurological diseases (CP, head injuries, spinal cord injuries, ALS, multiple sclerosis…),
- neuromuscular diseases (muscular dystrophy),
- musculoskeletal diseases (herniated disc…) and
- degenerative changes (osteoporosis, herniated disc…).

With a spinal brace, we ensure effective correction, prevention of worsening of the deformity, reduction of pain and improvement of functional posture.
This is made possible by the use of modern technology using computer-aided modeling (CAD–CAM), which ensures perfect fit and comfort. Each orthosis is made individually according to precise 3D measurements and takes into account the shape, type and location of the curve.
Success is ensured by choosing and making a suitable corset.
A corset by itself is not enough!
It has been found that only a combination of regular wearing and targeted exercises provides a proven effect.

Scoliosis and Kyphosis
Scoliosis is not just a curve—it’s a challenge we must overcome.
Scoliosis and kyphosis are the most common spinal deformities during growth and development periods. Irregularities in posture quality affect spinal alignment, the entire body, and even internal organ function.
Early detection, proper diagnosis, and appropriate orthotic treatment are essential to prevent pain and potential functional limitations later in life.
At MOOR, we develop modern corsets that enable children and adolescents to grow steadily and move naturally. We have established our own development in the treatment of scoliosis.
The Moor-S corset combines the principles of established methods (Lyon, Rigo Chêneau, SPoRT) into an aesthetic and effective orthosis that, with targeted pressure, encourages the body to actively participate in posture correction.
In the case of kyphosis, the purpose of the Moor-K corset is to establish the correct alignment of the thoracic spine and prevent the progression of hyperkyphosis. It allows for effective correction while being comfortable and aesthetically invisible under clothing.

Comprehensive orthotic treatment is based on the international guidelines of the professional association (SOSORT), which is engaged in the development and research in the field of conservative (non-operative) treatment of scoliosis, mainly with orthoses and physical therapy. The emphasis is on comprehensive individual treatment from measurement, manufacturing to regular check-ups, adjustments and learning corrective exercises.
The corset itself does not eliminate scoliosis, but significantly slows down or stops its progression and enables optimal growth of the spine.
With professionalism and attention to the child, we create support for the spine that does not limit daily activities, but encourages them.
The goal is not just a straight spine, but a life without restrictions, so that later there are no problems, pain or fear of movement.

Neuromuscular diseases
There are many neuromuscular diseases that affect movement and muscle strength. Neuromuscular scoliosis occurs due to muscle weakness, which consequently is unable to support the spine in stabilizing posture and movement. It often progresses faster than the idiopathic form of scoliosis. With a corset, we provide both correction of the position of the spine, and at the same time, the corset also provides the spine with a support function.
With improved stabilization of the torso and correction of posture, we enable easier and longer sitting, we affect the body’s balance and increase the function of the upper limbs. With correct and daily positioning, we also affect physiological functions, such as breathing and easier feeding, especially swallowing, which is crucial for children who use wheelchairs.
We reduce pain due to uneven load.
Each corset is designed according to a 3D model and made of lightweight, medically certified material, which allows for easy installation and maintenance of the medical device. We produce one-piece and two-piece braces, the type is decided by a doctor authorized to prescribe medical devices.
The purpose of treatment is not complete alignment, but to stop the progression of the deformity, to influence the maintenance of general functionality and, consequently, to ensure a better quality of life.
Degenerative changes
Degenerative changes are a part of life, but not necessarily a part of pain.
Degenerative changes in the spine are a natural part of aging, causing pain and reduced mobility. Although the changes cannot be completely prevented, with appropriate treatment we can significantly slow down their progress and maintain quality of life.
The corset is designed to relieve and stabilize the affected parts of the spine, reduce pain and consequently allow for prolonged physical activity.
The use of modern materials allows for comfort and aesthetic invisibility.
Modern orthotics are part of a holistic approach to treating spinal conditions. The best effect is achieved with a balanced combination of regular physical activity, targeted exercises and appropriate orthotic support.

Degenerative changes do not mean the end of movement.
The right medical device does not restrict movement, but rather restores it.
A customized orthosis allows the body to align, movement becomes free, and pain loses its strength.
